No one has set foot on Earth in centuries — until now.
It’s been 21 days since the hundred landed on Earth. They’re the only humans to set foot on the planet in centuries…or so they thought. Facing an unknown enemy, Wells attempts to keep the group together. Clarke strikes out for Mount Weather, in search of other Colonists, while Bellamy is determined to rescue his sister, no matter the cost. And back on the ship, Glass faces an unthinkable choice between the love of her life and life itself.
In this pulse-pounding sequel to Kass Morgan’s The 100, secrets are revealed, beliefs are challenged, and relationships are tested. And the hundred will struggle to survive the only way they can — together.
Okay, so I’m loving the Tv series so far. Super super exciting. And its a weird experience reading the books at the same time. For one the series is really ahead of the books, and secondly the books are so so different and there’s so much extra/missing that it’s like reading a completely different story.
I just love the whole idea for this series, I’m not shocked it was made into a TV series, its so gripping and exciting. I love me a bit of sci-fi. (to me any book with a spaceship, and alien or a ray gun is sci fi)
Things are starting to get exciting in this book. With the first book being like one big introductory chapter (albeit a very good intro chapter) this book is just getting into the meat of the action. Lots of shocking realisations and secrets revealed. And a lovely dose of romance.
Oh my, I ship Clarke and Bellamy so hard.
I’ve even started shipping them in the tv series (my dad thinks I’m mad) even though they don’t seem to be too much into eachother as they are in the book. THAT WILL CHANGE IT MUST. (I think the series is a season ahead in America, while we’re only just coming to the end of the first season so NO SPOILING).
There’s also a new ship which was super exciting, but I wont spoil it for you!
Overall the writing is good, better than the first book but still didn’t blow me away. I really really enjoyed it don’t get me wrong but it’s just not WOW.
